–Wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins needs one touchdown to set a franchise record for the most consecutive games with a touchdown reception. Hopkins is currently sitting at five straight games with a touchdown reception and in those five games Hopkins has 29 receptions for 356 yards (12.3 yards per catch) and five touchdowns.

–Wide receiver Demaryius Thomas has three receptions for 61 yards in two games and only have one target in their last game. Head coach Bill O’Brien knows the offense has to get Thomas more involved for the final stretch of the season.

“Yeah, it’s not Demaryius,” O’Brien explained. “I have to do a better job of getting him more involved. He’s working hard, he’s a good pro and we need to do a better job of getting him the ball a little more.”

–The Texans began the 21-day window on inside linebacker Dylan Cole who was lost after a Week 3 wrist injury. Defensive coordinator Romeo Crennel discussed the plan with Cole.

“We’ll have to see what he looks like in practice and then make a decision three weeks, two weeks down the road, something like that,” he said. “But, he was very valuable in helping us before he got injured so if he can get back to that form, then I think that he’ll be an asset.”

–Inside linebacker Zach Cunningham (knee) has a chance to play and if they can get both him and Cole back in the lineup, Crennel knows how versatile the two make the defense.

“Well, I think it’d be pretty good because they both are athletic and they showed that they can produce when they were healthy,” Crennel said of Cunningham and Cole. “Having both of them back will add some pieces to the puzzle.”

BY THE NUMBERS:50 — The number of receiving yards DeAndre Hopkins needs to join Julio Jones, Antonio Brown and Mike Evans as the only players in the NFL to record 1,000 yards receiving in four of the last five seasons.
