The Indianapolis Colts on Sunday signed free agent wide receiver Matt Hazel and free agent running back Branden Oliver. The team also waived wide receiver Dres Anderson and placed wide receiver Deon Cain on the Injured Reserve list.

Hazel rejoins the Colts after spending time on the team’s active roster and practice squad last season. He also spent time on the Cleveland Browns’ practice squad in 2017.

Hazel has appeared in nine career games (one start) in his time with the Browns (2017), Colts (2017), Washington Redskins (2016), Buffalo Bills (2016) and Miami Dolphins (2014-15). In 2017, he played in four games with Indianapolis.

Oliver has played in 30 career games and has made eight starts over the last four seasons with the Los Angeles/San Diego Chargers. He has totaled 226 carries for 773 yards and three touchdowns, 55 receptions for 409 yards and one touchdown and nine kickoff returns for 219 yards.

Anderson signed a reserve/future contract with Indianapolis on Jan. 1. He has spent time on the practice squads of Indianapolis (2017), Washington (2017), Chicago (2016) and San Francisco (2016). As a rookie in 2015, Anderson spent the entire season on the 49ers’ Injured Reserve list. He originally signed with San Francisco as an undrafted free agent on May 5, 2015.

Cain was a sixth-round pick out of Clemson. Cain finished tied for fourth in program history in receiving touchdowns.
