–Cornerback Xavien Howard on his team leading the NFL with 10 interceptions: “We’re hungry. We’re trying to put the ball back in the offense’s hands.”

–Head coach Adam Gase on Tannehill’s decision-making: “I thought we were good the first three games. But we just had a couple of bad choices, this last game especially.”

BY THE NUMBERS: 7 — That’s how many interceptions Dolphins cornerback Xavien Howard has in his past nine games. He leads the NFL in picks during that span. Also, in his past 10 games, he has defensed 14 passes, which ranks second in the NFL in that span. Last year, he became the first cornerback in Dolphins history to have multiple interceptions in consecutive games.
