–The Saints are 3-0 on the road this season after a 24-23 victory at Baltimore last week. Their last road loss was the playoff game against the Vikings. This is the first time they have begun a season 3-0 on the road since 2009 and it’s just the fourth time in franchise history that they have done that.

–New Orleans’ current five-game winning streak is the sixth streak of at least five consecutive wins since Sean Payton took over as head coach in 2006.

BY THE NUMBERS: 42 – That’s the Saints percentage of conversions on third down. It’s not bad – tied for 11th in the NFL and better than their 37.6 percent last season – but they’ll be facing the No. 1 third-down defense in the NFL (23 percent). New Orleans will be challenged to match or approach its season average, which will be a key to the offense’s success. The Saints’ conversion success has been boosted by the fact that they are 7 of 8 on fourth-down conversions.
