–The Saints are last in the NFL in rushing yards per game (52.5). Though part of that can be attributed to having to play from behind a lot and ranking 30th with just 36 attempts in two games, the Saints also rank 31st in yards per attempt (2.9).

–New Orleans played its first two games in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, but this game begins a stretch that sees the Saints play just one home game (Oct. 8 vs. Washington) between now and November.

–The Saints have placed an emphasis on improving their rate of converting third downs, but it hasn’t paid off. They converted just 37.6 percent of their third downs last season and so far they’re down to 33.3 percent this season.

–The Saints have been perfect on two-point conversions. They have converted each of their three attempts, twice scoring on runs by Alvin Kamara and scoring once on a pass from Drew Brees to Ted Ginn Jr.

BY THE NUMBERS: 81.3 – Drew Brees’ NFL-leading completion percentage. Brees broke the NFL record for completion percentage last season when he finished with a 72.0 percent completion rate.
