–Head coach Sean Payton has emphasized the need for the Saints to create more turnovers. They have just one takeaway in three games — an interception by S Marcus Williams against Cleveland two weeks ago. As a result, they are tied for 30th in the NFL in net turnovers (minus-3).

–At 2-1, New Orleans is off to its best three-game start since 2013 when it won its first five games.

–The Saints are third in the NFL in scoring (34.7 points per game), but that hasn’t done them as much good as it could have because they rank last in the NFL in points allowed (34.3).
