New York Jets linebacker Darron Lee is setting his sights high as he enters his third NFL season.

Lee, who was the 20th overall pick of the 2016 NFL Draft, wants to make the leap to the Pro Bowl.

“Absolutely trying to make the Pro Bowl, and have a hell of a year, be All-Pro,” the 23-year-old Lee recently told NJ.com. “I’m not trying to be just some regular linebacker here. I’m trying to be the best, one of the best. That’s why I’m here.”

Lee saw an increase in his statistics from his rookie season to his second, as he recorded 94 tackles, three sacks and two forced fumbles in 15 games.

He didn’t have any interceptions, however, in each of his first two seasons — something he wishes to change in 2018.

“I’ve got to get some picks,” Lee said. “That’s going to be my main focus this year. I definitely had a way better second year. I think I’ve used those first two years to just absorb what I could do better. Now, I can really, really hone in.”
