The Philadelphia Eagles, who have clinched the No. 1 seed in the NFC, will play their starters against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.

“I want all the starters to play,” coach Doug Pederson said at a Friday morning press conference.

He didn’t saw how long those starters would play as the Eagles (13-2) host the Cowboys (8-7) in a regular-season finale that has no playoff implications.

“I have to be smart with it obviously,” Pederson said of using his starters. “I’m not putting anybody on a pitch count or a number of plays. I just want to see execution from our guys going into the postseason. …

“I want to make sure they stay in the moment, but at the same time, I’ll be smart with how much they play, how long they’ll play.”

The game will mark the third consecutive start for quarterback Nick Foles, who stepped in after Carson Wentz suffered a torn ACL. Foles has thrown five touchdown passes and one interception in his past two games. His backup is Nate Sudfeld.
