Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch is expected to undergo surgery Wednesday to repair a sports hernia and will at least four weeks, according to multiple reports. Lynch has been dealing with an abdomen injury since a practice injury leading up to the team’s Week 10 game, and traveled to Philadelphia on Monday to be seen by an abdomen injury specialist. Lynch sat out last week’s victory over the San Francisco 49ers. Undrafted rookie Thomas Rawls rushed for 209 yards in his absence and will take over the starting job until Lynch is able to return. The Seahawks re-signed running back Bryce Brown on Tuesday and added DuJuan Harris to the practice squad to increase depth behind Rawls and veteran Fred Jackson.
