Buccaneers name four assistants

New Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Dirk Koetter added four assistants to his staff on Tuesday.

Nate Kaczor was hired as special teams coordinator, Mark Duffner as linebackers coach, Jay Hayes as defensive line coach and Jon Hoke as defensive backs coach.

Kaczor was the the special teams coach for the past three years with the Tennessee Titans and the team’s assistant offensive line coach for a year. He also worked for the Jacksonville Jaguars as an assistant special teams coach from 2008 to 2011.

Duffner served as linebackers coach for the Miami Dolphins the past two seasons after eight years in the same role with the Jaguars. He also was a collegiate head coach at Maryland and Holy Cross, compiling an 80-40-1 record.

Hayes was with the Cincinnati Bengals for the past 13 seasons as defensive line coach, developing one of the top units in the NFL.

Hoke moves to the NFL after spending the 2015 season as South Carolina co-defensive coordinator and defensive backs coach. From 2009 to 2014, Hoke was defensive backs coach for the Chicago Bears. He also held the same position for seven seasons with the Houston Texans.
