Chris Thompson – Important – Injury
RB Chris Thompson (rib) will likely miss his fifth game in the past six.

D.J. Swearinger – Noteworthy
S D.J. Swearinger has his eyes set on revenge when the Washington Redskins face the Houston Texans on Sunday. “Houston bashed my name pretty bad,” said Swearinger, who was selected by the Texans in the second round of the 2013 NFL Draft before being released during the 2015 offseason. The Buccaneers claimed him off waivers the following day, with Swearinger insisting that he didn’t get an honest shake in Tampa Bay. “I never got a fair chance from Tampa,” the 27-year-old Swearinger said. “I remember my first interview with Lovie (Smith), he asked me about all the things Houston bashed me on. I was sitting there shocked like, ‘They really said that about me? This is horrible.’ I took that and put that chip on my shoulder, like I never got that fair opportunity.”

Dustin Hopkins – Important – Injury
K Dustin Hopkins (right groin) is still uncertain for Sunday’s game against Houston. The Redskins worked out five kickers this week just in case. Hopkins has missed just two kicks this season.

Jamison Crowder – Important – Injury
WR Jamison Crowder (ankle) did not practice Wednesday and could miss his fifth consecutive game.

Trent Williams – Important – Injury
LT Trent Williams (thumb) has already been ruled out for Sunday’s game against Houston. Williams had surgery.

Tress Way – Important
P Tress Way received NFC Special Teams Player of Week honors after booting five kicks for a net average of 47.8 yards per punt in Sunday’s 16-3 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Trey Quinn – Important – Injury – Transaction
WR Trey Quinn was activated from reserve/injured; designated for return by the Redskins Wednesday (Nov. 14).
