The Philadelphia Eagles signed former Houston Texans offensive lineman Andrew Gardner, who can play guard or tackle, the team announced Monday.

The 6-foot-6, 308-pound Gardner was originally drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the sixth round of the 2009 draft. The Georgia Tech product has also spent time with the Baltimore Ravens, Minnesota Vikings and Cincinnati Bengals. Gardner was a member of the Texans from 2011-2013.

Gardner, who turns 28 on Friday, appeared in three games for Houston in 2013 and was listed as the club’s top backup right tackle.
