FRIDAY INJURY REPORT
HOUSTON TEXANS

–QUESTIONABLE: WR DeAndre Hopkins (thumb, ankle, hamstring), CB Kayvon Webster (achilles), CB Shareece Wright (shoulder)
INDIANAPOLIS COLTS

–OUT: T Anthony Castonzo (hamstring), TE Jack Doyle (hip), T Joe Haeg (ankle), DT Hassan Ridgeway (calf), CB Quincy Wilson (concussion)

–QUESTIONABLE: S Clayton Geathers (knee), RB Marlon Mack (hamstring), LB Anthony Walker (groin)

PLAYER SPOTLIGHT: QB Deshaun Watson. Watson passed for 385 yards last game against the Giants. He has played well but has had three interceptions in the end zone so far. Watson needs to be more careful with the football and make better decisions.

GAME PLAN: Offensive tackle Julien Davenport needs to cut down on his penalties. He has eight overall with two not counting. Davenport is struggling. If he can’t stop committing mistakes, the Texans may need to bench him.

Watch for the Texans to try to do more maximum protection schemes to protect Deshaun Watson.

Defensively, the Texans will shadow T.Y. Hilton and try to pressure Andrew Luck. The Texans have had issues with the Colts’ speed in the past. They’ll need to do a good job of bottling up the run.
MATCHUPS TO WATCH

–Texans C Nick Martin vs. Colts DL Margus Hunt. Martin is a sound technician and the younger brother of Dallas Cowboys Pro Bowl guard Zack Martin. Hunt is a tall, kick-blocking penetrator who is off to a great start to the season.

–Texans CB Johnathan Joseph vs. Colts WR T.Y. Hilton. Joseph had issues in single coverage last year against Hilton on deep routes. Hilton is one of the fastest players in the NFL. He has given Joseph a lot of problems in the past.
