Merlin Robertson – Noteworthy
Merlin Robertson, last year’s Pac 12 Freshman Defensive Player of the Year, again was limited to conditioning work on the side rather than on-field participation in spring drills. Edwards said his standout was just a little “nicked up” so he was playing it cautious. Edwards said linebacker Darien Butler was also a little dinged up but he participated. “He’s a little hard-headed,” the coach laughed. – Arizona Republic
