Top-ranked wide receiver Mario Williams committed to Oklahoma’s 2021 recruiting class on Friday.
He is the No. 1-ranked wideout in his class and No. 16 overall in the ESPN 300. The 247Sports Composite ranked Williams as the No. 4 receiver and No. 40 nationally.
The 5-foot-10, 165-pound prospect from Plant City, Fla., chose the Sooners over a host of suitors that included Alabama, Clemson, LSU and Texas.
Williams tallied 1,745 receiving yards and 23 touchdowns over the last two seasons at Plant City High School.
