Rico Bussey Jr. – Noteworthy
One of the big concerns when Seth Littrell took over North Texas’ program heading into the 2016 season was if the Mean Green could find enough talented wide receivers to run his spread system. Littrell and his coaching staff quickly alleviated those concerns and have been on a roll ever since. Rico Bussey Jr. was among the top wide receivers in Conference USA last season and was a first-team all-league selection after catching 68 passes for 1,017 yards and 12 touchdowns. Bussey returns to lead a group of talented players that should be among the best in C-USA in 2019. – Denton Record
