Former Clemson quarterback Kelly Bryant has set a date to let the world know of his much-anticipated landing spot, according to a published report.

Woody Wommack of Rivals reported that Bryant set a date of Dec. 4 to select his graduate transfer destination.

“I’m still trying to talk to more schools and make sure I get this right,” Bryant told Rivals earlier this month. “I need to make sure I establish the right type of relationship and make the right choice.”

Bryant has visited Arkansas, Missouri, Auburn and North Carolina while future trips to Mississippi State and Miami are on the horizon.

The 22-year-old Bryant elected to pursue other opportunities after Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney chose freshman Trevor Lawrence as the team’s starting quarterback earlier this season.

Bryant will not have to sit out a season because he will be a graduate transfer. He has one year of eligibility remaining.

The 6-foot-3, 225-pound Bryant made 18 consecutive starts for the Tigers, posting a 16-2 record and guiding Clemson to the College Football Playoffs last year.

In four games this season, Bryant completed 36 of 54 passes for 461 yards with two touchdowns and one interception. He has also rushed for 130 yards and two scores.

Bryant finished the 2017 season with 2,802 yards, 13 touchdowns and eight interceptions in 14 games. He also rushed for 665 yards and 11 scores.
