GAME BREAKDOWN

KEY MATCHUP: Louisville’s defense is one of the worst in the nation. In fact, the Cardinals have given up 50 or more points six times this season, which is more than Louisville teams have given up in the last 20 years combined. Early this season Kentucky had a fearsome rushing attack with Benny Snell ripping off huge runs and the Wildcats scoring at a decent clip. That rushing attack has slowed in recent weeks, but playing against Louisville’s woeful Rush Defense could be just what the doctor ordered for the Cats.

DRAFT SLANT: OT Mekhi Becton is a massive individual at 6-foot-7 and 350 pounds. He’s mobile and agile despite his gigantic size. Just a sophomore, he would not be eligible until the 2020 NFL Draft, but he could be one to watch in that first round.

ROSTER REPORT:

–Starting DE Jonathan Greenard is out for the year after hand surgery.

–Starting FB Tobias Little is out for the season with a knee injury suffered in fall camp.

–Starting RB Dae Williams is out for the season with a broken bone in his hand.

–TE Kemari Averett was suspended for a domestic incident.

–QB Malik Cunningham left the game vs. N.C. State but is said to be good to play this Saturday.
