PLAYERS TO WATCH

–QB Ryan Finley has thrown for a league-leading 318 yards per game. He has tossed 21 touchdown passes with seven interceptions. Only Philip Rivers has more career passing yards than Finley among all-time N.C. State players.

–WR Jakobi Meyers has a total of 26 catches for 338 yards and two touchdowns across the past three games. Meyers, who has 69 catches this year, has become an ideal complement for clutch WR Kelvin Harmon, who has 72 receptions. Meyers missed one game, so he leads the team in catches per outing.

–LB Germaine Pratt, a senior, is among the ACC leaders in tackles with 9.8 per game after notching seven in the Louisville game. He’ll play his final two college games against in-state opponents with matchups with North Carolina and East Carolina.

–WR Kelvin Harmon has eclipsed the 1,000-yard receiving mark for the second season in a row. He’s only the third N.C. State player reach that mark in two seasons, following Torry Holt and Jerricho Cotchery.

SERIES HISTORY: North Carolina leads N.C. State 66-35-6, but N.C. State has won the last two meetings.

QUOTE TO NOTE: “Like I told our players, whatever our record is at the end of the year, as coaches and players, we earned that record. We have to try and earn a better one.” — Coach Dave Doeren, whose team won nine games last year and, with a bowl game, has a chance to reach 10 victories this season.
