PLAYERS TO WATCH

–QB Ryan Finley has thrown for a league-leading 328.2 yards per game. The senior has tossed eight touchdown passes with only one interception. Three of his 15 career interceptions have come in two games against Boston College.

–WR Kelvin Harmon continues to be a downfield threat for N.C. State. He’s coming off a six-catch, 94-yard outing against Virginia. With 406 receiving yards in four games, he’s on pace for back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons. Harmon had a touchdown catch two years ago at home against Boston College.

–S Tanner Ingle has been exposed at times by opposing teams in the passing game, but the freshman has shown aggression in pursuing opponents with the ball. Ingle notched six solo tackles to share the team tackles lead in the Virginia game.

–DL Larrell Murchinson is helping ease the loss of touted defensive linemen off last year’s roster. He sacked Virginia QB Bryce Perkins three times in his most productive gave. The three-sack game was the most for an N.C. State player since 2016.

SERIES HISTORY: Boston College leads N.C. State 9-6, though the Wolfpack won 17-14 last year for a road victory.

QUOTE TO NOTE: “That’s the first time I’ve seen him excited and I told him it was the first of many.” — Coach Dave Doeren on TE Cary Angeline, a transfer from Southern California, scoring on a touchdown on his first catch with the Wolfpack.
