QUOTE TO NOTE: “I’m really excited for the seniors. Getting our seventh win guarantees these guys a winning season, not finishing out .500 or getting a below .500 in a bowl game. I can’t say enough about what they have done to change this culture here at Syracuse University, and for giving us an opportunity to do greater things in the future. Regardless of whatever happens, they will be known as the class that got this team turned around and headed back in the right direction.” — Syracuse coach Dino Babers, whose team improved to 7-2 with a 41-24 win at Wake Forest last week.
