PLAYERS TO WATCH

–QB Eric Dungey threw 41 times, completing 26, for 250 yards against Clemson last week. He now has 1,040 career pass attempts. Dungey and Ryan Nassib (1,312) are the only quarterbacks in program history with more than 1,000 career throws. Dungey scored the 25th and 26th rushing touchdown of his career, passing all-time leading rusher Joe Morris (1978-81) for sixth in team history.

–RB Dontae Strickland rushed three times for 2 yards against Clemson to become the 35th Orange ball carrier to surpass 1,300 career rushing yards. Strickland has 1,301 yards in 39 games.

–DB Evan Foster eclipsed 100 career tackles with his five stops against Clemson. Foster now has 104 tackles in 26 games played.

–DE Kendall Coleman registered two sacks for the second time in three games. The junior has five sacks in the last three games and leads the Orange with six on the season.

SERIES HISTORY: Syracuse trails in its series with Pittsburgh 38-31-3 with the Orange winning last year’s game 27-24 at the Carrier Dome. Syracuse is 2-13 in its last 15 games against Pitt. The Orange has not won at Pitt since 2001.
