PLAYERS TO WATCH

–WR Olamide Zaccheaus became Virginia’s all-time receptions leader passing Billy McMullen on Saturday. Zaccheaus caught 10 passes against North Carolina and now has a reception in 37-straight games as he continues to be Perkins’ favorite target.

–DB Bryce Hall leads the nation with 16 pass breakups this season and has added two interceptions to an impressive stat sheet. Hall tallied six more tackles against the Tar Heels and has become one of the best shutdown defensive backs in the country. Hall will need to use his tackling instincts against a Pittsburgh team that will look to keep the ball on the ground.

–LB Chris Peace added a sack and tackle for loss to his resume on Saturday and now has six sacks on the season to lead the ACC. Peace’s 10.5 tackles for loss ranks seventh in the conference.

SERIES HISTORY: Pittsburgh leads Virginia 7-3. The Panthers won 31-14 last season in Pittsburgh.

QUOTE TO NOTE: “Them saying we want the Coastal is saying it is possible and that we have a real chance. They just couldn’t help but say it, because it is new and exciting. My job is to now show them how we can get there and what we need to do.” –Coach Bronco Mendenhall
