KEY MATCHUP: Wake Forest offensive line vs. Louisville’s defensive front. The offensive line has enduring rough times unexpectedly for the Demon Deacons. They’re coming off a loss at Florida State with only 96 rushing yards. That’s no way to take pressure off a freshman quarterback. This might be the time to get moving again on the ground. Louisville is giving up 233.9 rushing yards per game, marking the most allowed in the ACC. Part of the Cardinals’ ragged numbers in this category came against run-oriented Georgia Tech, so this is a chance for Louisville to show it can be tough along the defensive front.

DRAFT SLANT

–C Ryan Anderson has started 36 consecutive games. He’s capable of shifting to guard or tackle if that’s what the Demon Deacons need. His stock began to rise last year as the Demon Deacons racked up record yardage totals and now scouts will have a chance to zero in on him to see what he’s doing so well on a regular basis.

ROSTER REPORT:

–QB/WR Kendall Hinton’s mysterious season continues as he didn’t make the trip to Florida State with an apparent injury. He missed the first three games because of a team-related suspension and his role has been rather minimal for much of the time when he has been in uniform. He hasn’t started a game this season.

–DB Cameron Glenn tends to hit the high notes in terms of tackles in storied venues. In road games (Notre Dame and Clemson last year, Florida State last week), he has notched double-figure tackle totals. He posted 12 against Florida State.

–P Dom Maggio punted nine times at Florida State after 12 punts in the previous game against Clemson. He has an ACC-high 15 punts inside the 20-yard line.
