Former Alabama running back Jerome Ford has transferred to Cincinnati.

A week after posting a tweet that read, “I don’t know where im goin, I just know ima win,” Ford revealed his commitment to the Bearcats on his Twitter feed Tuesday night.

A four-star member of Alabama’s 2018 recruiting class, Ford was ranked as the No. 8 all-purpose back in the nation by 247Sports.

The Seffner, Fla., resident started the Crimson Tide’s 2019 season opener as a redshirt freshman and finished the year with 24 carries for 114 yards and three touchdowns. He also caught two passes for 11 yards.

Unless he receives a waiver from the NCAA, Ford (5-foot-11, 212 pounds) will have to sit out the 2020 season.

His announcement came just a few days after Bearcats running back Michael Warren II declared for the 2020 NFL Draft after rushing for 1,265 yards and 14 touchdowns as a junior in 2019.
