The top nine teams in the Associated Press Top 25 poll remained unchanged, with Utah moving up a spot to edge Michigan at No. 10.

The Utes are in the top 10 for the first time since they were 10th in the Week 11 poll on Nov. 8, 2015. Utah is coming off a 31-0 victory over Idaho State on Saturday, while Michigan was idle.

Clemson remains No. 1, earning 57 of the 62 first-place votes, with No. 2 Alabama receiving the other five first-place nods. Georgia is No. 3, followed by LSU, Oklahoma, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Auburn and Florida.

No. 18 Michigan State, No. 21 Maryland and No. 24 USC fell out of the poll after losses.

Two of the new teams — No. 23 Cal and No. 24 Arizona State — are from the Pac-12, giving the league six teams in the rankings. In addition to Utah, Oregon is 16th, Washington State is 19th and Washington is 20th.

TCU, which won 34-13 at Purdue on Saturday, joins the rankings at No. 25.

The biggest mover within the poll is Virginia, which jumped four spots to No. 21 after rallying and then hanging on to beat visiting Florida State 31-24 on Saturday. The Cavaliers are off to their first 3-0 start since 2005.

This week’s schedule includes three meetings of ranked teams — No. 7 Notre Dame at No. 3 Georgia, No. 8 Auburn at No. 17 Texas A&M and No. 11 Michigan at No. 13 Wisconsin.
