Knights sophomore Dillon Gabriel completed 61.7 percent of his passes for 3,353 yards with 30 touchdowns and four interceptions.
Cougars junior Zach Wilson completed 73.2 percent of his passes for 3,267 yards with 30 touchdowns and three interceptions.
The Boca Raton Bowl began in 2014. Florida Atlantic defeated SMU 52-28 in last year’s game.
