GAME BREAKDOWN

KEY MATCHUP: Baylor ranks fourth in the Big 12 in passing with a 299.4-yard average, though QB Charlie Brewer is in concussion protocol and has taken his share of licks. The Bears have allowed 26 sacks, the most of any Big 12 squad, while Oklahoma State leads the nation in sacks (31) behind energetic DE Jordan Brailford, who has nine. Pressure will be key, particularly if Brewer is unavailable, to help a young, but improving, Oklahoma State secondary.

DRAFT SLANT

–WR Tylan Wallace should probably mature at least another year in the Oklahoma State system before thinking about turning pro, but the sophomore certainly grabbed the attention of scouts with his 222-yard performance on 10 receptions in the Oct. 27 win over Texas. With five 100-yard games this season, Wallace is putting himself in exclusive company of former Cowboys such as Dez Bryant, Justin Blackmon and James Washington. His 17 targets against Texas were more than the rest of his teammates (16).

ROSTER REPORT

–OT Shane Richards suffered an undisclosed injury in the Texas win on Oct. 27, though Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy was optimistic Richards would return but was uncertain whether that would happen at Baylor.

–OT Arlington Hambright (ankle) also remains out as Oklahoma State has fielded a patchwork line throughout most of Big 12 play. Gundy credited the unit with blocking well the past three games. OT Teven Jenkins, who moved to the left side after Hambright went out, has been particularly impressive.
