What a difference a week makes!
A week ago, a two-point conversion pass from Oklahoma State quarterback Taylor Cornelius to wide receiver Tylan Wallace was incomplete with just over a minute remaining as the Cowboys lost to Oklahoma, 48-47.
This week the connection worked.
With only 42 seconds left in the fourth quarter, the sophomore receiver from Fort Worth, Tex. hauled in an 11-yard scoring pass from Cornelius, completing a 14-point Cowboys fourth quarter comeback to beat No. 7 West Virginia, 45-41.
Wallace’s game-winning touchdown reception is this week’s U.S. Farm-Raised Catfish “Catch of the Week.”
For the game, Wallace caught seven passes for 62 yards and two touchdowns, including a 49-yard scoring reception in the second quarter.
Cornelius passed completed 30 of 46 passes for 338 yards and five touchdowns, and ran for another 106 yards and a score.
Remember … for the tailgate tent or the pre-game party, U. S. Farm-Raised Catfish is always “the winning catch.”
