Oklahoma running back Trey Sermon announced his intention to transfer Saturday on social media.

“I’ve enjoyed my three years as a Sooner and am looking forward to what’s next,” he posted on Twitter. “After careful consideration, I have decided to enter the portal as a graduate transfer.”

Sermon has one year of eligibility remaining. As a graduate transfer, he can play at another school in 2020.

Sermon rushed for 2,076 yards and 22 touchdowns and caught 36 passes for 391 yards and three scores in 37 games with Oklahoma from 2017-19.

He was a four-star prospect in the 2017 recruiting class, ranked No. 9 nationally among running backs and No. 8 overall in the state of Georgia by ESPN.
