PLAYERS TO WATCH

–WR Antoine Wesley continued to be a force for the Red Raiders offense against Iowa State. He caught eight passes for 119 yards and a TD. He’s holding steady at third nationally with 977 receiving yards so far this season.

–QB Alan Bowman had a rough outing against Iowa State as he threw three interceptions. But he still passed for 323 yards. Texas Tech needs his completion percentage (57 percent versus the Cyclones) to come up to have success against Oklahoma.

–LB Riko Jeffers got more snaps when fellow LB Jordyn Brooks was ejected for targeting in the first half against Iowa State. Jeffers made the most of it as he posted 11 total tackles with a sack and a forced fumble that resulted in a Dakota Allen recovery for a touchdown.

–DT Joseph Wallace was active against Iowa State as he had a sack for a loss of seven yards.

SERIES HISTORY: Oklahoma leads Texas Tech 19-6. The Sooners have won the last six in a row.

QUOTE TO NOTE: “Just how fortunate you feel to be on the field with that many NFL players on both sides. You look at the names and what they’re doing on Sundays right now and it’s incredible. Guys playing on an elite level already early in their careers and they’re all out there on one particular night all making plays that night.” Kliff Kingsbury, reflecting on the Red Raiders vs. Sooners shootout in 2016, which Oklahoma won 66-59.
