Wisconsin wide receiver Aron Cruickshank announced Saturday he is transferring to Rutgers.

A 5-foot-9 sophomore, Cruickshank played in all 14 games for the Badgers in 2019.

He posted a photo to Instagram on Saturday wearing a Rutgers uniform with the headline “Committed.”

He rushed 13 times for 139 yards and one touchdown, caught three passes for 29 yards and returned 23 kickoffs for 674 yards and two scores in 2019.

Cruickshank returned a kickoff 95 yards for a touchdown in the first quarter of Wisconsin’s 28-27 loss to Oregon in the Rose Bowl on New Year’s Day.

The Brooklyn, N.Y., native will have to sit out the 2020 season due to NCAA transfer rules and will have two years of eligibility with the Scarlet Knights starting in 2021.
