Indiana starting quarterback Michael Penix Jr. dressed but did not start against No. 6 Ohio State due to an undisclosed injury.

On Thursday, Indiana coach Tom Allen confirmed that Penix was limited in practice due to the injury and would be a game-time decision.

Penix, a redshirt freshman, passed for 523 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions in his first two career starts — a pair of wins over Ball State and Eastern Illinois.

With Penix out, redshirt junior quarterback Peyton Ramsey started for the Hoosiers. Ramsey made 12 starts last season, passing for 2,875 yards with 19 touchdowns and 13 interceptions.
