Linebacker Tyrin Ferguson’s college career ended Friday when the Nebraska Cornhuskers confirmed he had been dismissed from the team for an unspecified rules violation.
The fifth-year senior had lost playing time to freshman Garrett Nelson and had just four tackles on the season.
Ferguson had last played on Oct. 12, his sixth game of 2019.
A three-star recruit for the Cornhuskers in 2015, Ferguson finishes his career with 48 tackles and eight tackles for loss.
