Cal WR Noa transfers to Nebraska

California graduate transfer Kanawai Noa announced Sunday that he will play his final season at Nebraska.

Noa, a wide receiver, made the announcement on his Instagram account, sporting a Nebraska No. 9 football jersey and saying “Committed. Thankful #husker #gobigred”

Noa caught 96 passes for 1,267 yards and six touchdowns in 31 games for the Golden Bears. His best season was 2017 when he had 56 receptions for 788 yards and four scores in 11 games.

Last season, Noa caught 30 passes for 369 yards and two scores in eight contests.
