GAME BREAKDOWN

KEY MATCHUP: Jonathan Taylor leads the nation in rushing yards with 1,155 and has run for eight Wisconsin touchdowns. Overall, the Badgers are fifth in the nation in rushing — and the Scarlet Knights are 115th in the nation against the run.

DRAFT SLANT

–LB Trevor Morris has shaken off a dislocated elbow suffered in camp and is on pace for his third straight 100-tackle season. Last season, his 118 tackles were second in the Big Ten. This season, he has 71 through seven games, including 3.5 for loss and 1.5 sacks. He also has four pass breakups, four quarterback hits and a forced fumble and recovery — and needs three tackles to reach 300 in his career.

ROSTER REPORT:

–K Justin Davidovicz hit his first field goal attempt in the loss to Northwestern to go to 6-for-6 on the year and then missed before hitting again in the 18-15 loss.

–DT Willington Previlon’s sack in the end zone gave Rutgers its first safety since 2009.

–WR Eddie Lewis led Rutgers with four catches, but they were good for only 18 yards, with a long of 11.

–P Adam Korsak delivered a school-record 79-yarder against Northwestern, tied for the longest in the nation this season and Rutgers’ longest since Joe Radigan’s 78-yarder in 2006. Korsak was added to the Ray Guy watch list as one of the nation’s top punters.

–DE Elorm Lumor had 1.5 sacks against Northwestern.

–DL Malachi Burby became the 12th commitment to next year’s recruiting class. He had offers from UConn, Syracuse, Temple, Wake Forest and others but chose the Scarlet Knights.
