GAME BREAKDOWN

KEY MATCHUP: Rutgers has actually developed a weapon in freshman running back Isaih Pacheco and now face Penn State — the Nittany Lions just 80th in the country against the run. So, on paper, this would figure to be a key matchup for the heavy underdog Scarlet Knights.

DRAFT SLANT

–LB Trevor Morris has shaken off a dislocated elbow suffered in camp and is on pace for his third straight 100-tackle season. Last season, his 118 tackles were second in the Big Ten. This season, he has 91 through nine games, including 3.5 for loss and 1.5 sacks. He also has four pass breakups, four quarterback hits and a forced fumble and recovery. He now has 317 tackles for his career, 10th all-time at Rutgers.

ROSTER REPORT:

–RB Isaih Pacheco’s 80-yard TD run was the longest by a Rutgers player in a Big Ten game and the third-longest by a Scarlet Knight against a ranked team (Ray Rice had the top two).

–DB Parker Day became the latest player to make his college debut as Rutgers lost to No. 4 Michigan last week.

–DB Blessuan Austin, DL Jon Bateky, OL Tariq Cole, DB Saquan Hampton, OL Zack Heeman, DB Kiy Hester, RB Jonathan Hilliman, P Nick Johnston, Morris, QB Rob Nittolo, QB Gio Rescigno, LB Deonte Roberts, DL Muhammad Wainwright, TE Jerome Washington, DB Isaiah Wharton and DL Kevin Wilkins will be honored at Senior Day Saturday.
