GAME BREAKDOWN

KEY MATCHUP: Jonathan Taylor vs. Michigan’s defense. Taylor torched Nebraska for 221 yards and three touchdowns. Aided by one of the best offensive lines in the country, Taylor and Wisconsin will try and set the tone by establishing control of the line of scrimmage early in the game. Michigan is No. 1 in total defense in the country through six games. Michigan is allowing just 230.5 yards per game, though Taylor is unquestionably the toughest test of the season for the Wolverines. How Wisconsin’s offensive line is able to keep Michigan defensive lineman Chase Winovich, who has 10.5 tackles for a loss, off Hornibrook is essential to a victory. The Wolverines, led by Devin Bush, have a talented group of linebackers with speed and athleticism.

DRAFT SLANT

–LB T.J. Edwards, a preseason All-American, is a next-level player with immense potential. With Wisconsin’s secondary hampered by numerous injuries, Edwards’ play against Michigan is even more critical.

ROSTER REPORT:

–CB Deron Harrell is questionable for Saturday’s big showdown with Michigan due to an upper body injury.

–CB Caesar Williams is also questionable because of a left leg injury.

–LB Andrew Van Ginkel is suffering from a right leg injury that left his status as probable.

–DE Isaiahh Loudermilk is questionable with a left leg injury.

–LB Griffin Grady was upgraded to questionable.
