DCota Dixon – Noteworthy
15 former Wisconsin Badger football players worked out for NFL scouts and coaches at Pro Day at the McClain Indoor Facility Wednesday. Beau Benzschawel, Ryan Connelly, Taiwan Deal, Michael Deiter, D’Cota Dixon, David Edwards, T.J. Edwards, Alec Ingold, Chris James, Micah Kapoi, Zander Neuville, Olive Sagapolu, Andrew Van Ginkel, Rachid Ibrahim, Serge Trezy and Nate Trewyn of UW-Whitewater went through drills trying to make their case to get a shot in the NFL. Benzschawel: said “it’s the same thing at the Senior Bowl or the combine – this time was probably the most laid-back I’d say as far as all of it goes. I think just having that in the back of your head- people watching everything you do – anyway, it just makes you better and you want to perform well.” Safety D’Cota Dixon added ” I think the biggest thing today, I came out here and had fun and you know, that’s a win for me – it’s a sucessful day, I’m having fun, I’m doing what I love – I can’t complain, I really can’t – I’m just thankful I can be here and show ’em what I can do.” – Channel 3000 Madison
