Record-setting Wisconsin running back Jonathan Taylor will enter the 2020 NFL Draft, he announced on Friday night.

“I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to live out a childhood dream of playing Division I football and now I have the opportunity to live out another childhood dream, which is playing at the highest level of football,” Taylor said in a video he shared on social media.

Taylor’s junior season ended with a 28-27 loss to Oregon in the Rose Bowl on Wednesday.

He had 94 yards on 21 carries and 43 yards on two catches in the loss.

Taylor, only the seventh player in FBS history to reach 6,000 career rushing yards, is projected to go late in the first round or in the second round by most draft analysts.

Taylor leaves Wisconsin with 6,174 career rushing yards, an FBS record for a player through his junior season. Former Badger Ron Dayne has the overall career record at 7,125 yards.
