Fresh off a defeat in the national championship game Monday night, Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence already has another challenge on his hands as one of two favorites to win the 2020 Heisman Trophy.

Lawrence, who lost his first-ever college game when his team dropped a 42-25 decision to LSU in New Orleans, is a Heisman co-favorite with Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields. Both QBs will be juniors in 2020 and eligible for the 2021 NFL Draft.

While Fields is a slight favorite at DraftKings and PointsBet, Lawrence nudges him out as the 7-2 favorite at SportsBetting.ag, while Fields is at 4-1. At DraftKings, Fields is +300, while Lawrence is +400 and at SportsBet, Fields is +300 while Lawrence is +375.

Fields is an even bigger favorite at FanDuel, where he is listed at +175 to +430 for Lawrence.

In Monday’s title game, Lawrence was 18-of-37 passing for 234 yards but did not throw a TD pass. After the game, Lawrence and 2019 Heisman Trophy winner Joe Burrow of LSU embraced on the field.
