Here’s The Lowe Down on tonight’s California vs. USC matchup. The weekend’s games will be posted tomorrow. Last week’s record was 13-7, bringing the yearly record to 160-56. To the Thursday night’s games we go…

Thursday, November 13

California (5-4, 3-4 Pac-12) at USC (6-3, 5-2 Pac-12) 8:00 p.m. CT

If you like points, then you should enjoy this Thursday night matchup. Jared Goff and California can score on anyone but defensively the Bears are the pits. Sonny Dykes’ team is giving up an eye-popping 39.9 points per game, which ranks 120th nationally and has allowed at least 56 points or more to an opponent three times this season (ouch!). USC quarterback Cody Kessler is playing at a high level (coming off a 400-yard, five touchdown performance in a win over Washington State) and the Trojans are fresh off a bye so look for the home team to roll here.

The Lowe Down: California 28, USC 59

In other Thursday night games:

East Carolina 23, Cincinnati 26

Southern Miss 20, UTSA 23
