BYU linebacker Chaz Ah You faces multiple charges, including suspicion of DUI, following his arrest in Eagle Mountain, Utah.

He was arrested Sunday after driving 75 miles per hour in a 35-mph zone and following other vehicles too closely, according to Utah County court documents obtained by KSLSports.com.

A search of the vehicle discovered two alcohol containers, one empty, and a THC vape pen, per the report. A field sobriety test was performed at Utah County Jail, where he was charged with suspicion of DUI, reckless driving, unsafe lane travel, speeding and possession of an open container of alcohol.

BYU issued a statement acknowledging it is “aware of the situation and looking into it.”

Ah You, who led the Cougars with 5.5 tackles for loss as a sophomore in 2019, was the highest-rated signee in BYU’s 2017 recruiting class. The four-star recruit was ranked No. 2 regardless of position in the state of Utah by the 247Sports composite.

Ah You appeared in 11 games in 2019 and registered 31 tackles, one sack, one interception and three passes defensed. He had one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.

He appeared in seven games as a 2017 freshman and spent 2018 serving a mission with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
