Former Washington quarterback Jake Haener has enrolled in classes at Fresno State and joined the football program.
Haener departed Washington after losing a tight summer camp competition to Jacob Eason.
Haener will sit out this season under NCAA transfer regulations and will have two seasons of eligibility remaining.
Haener went 9-for-13 passing for 107 yards and one touchdown while playing in four games in 2018 as a backup to Jake Browning.
Current Fresno State starting quarterback Jorge Reyna is a senior.
