Jalin Burrell – Noteworthy
Thirteen former Lobo football players participated in Friday’s Pro Day at UNM. There were six NFL scouts in attendance on Friday, marking three more than a year ago. Jalin Burrell came into this Pro Day with the most attention from NFL scouts, as he already participated in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl in January. “I spoke with 25 plus teams and it definitely prepared me for this day. I was a lot more comfortable, and I tried to instill that into some of the guys that were a little nervous. Even myself, I was a little nervous, but I think I stood out today in my position drills and my 40. I showed that I could move and bend being a 6-foot, 200 pounds corner,” said Burrell. Jalin also has another opportunity to impress the scouts as he is participating in an NFL Regional Combine in Kansas City, Missouri on Saturday. – KRQE News 13
