Arizona State junior running back Eno Benjamin announced Wednesday that he is declaring for the NFL draft.

Benjamin set school records for rushing yards in a game (312 vs. Oregon State in 2018) and a season (1,642 in 2018) during his standout career. He rushed for 1,083 yards in 2019 and his 2,867 career yards rank seventh in school history.

“I’ve worked my entire life for this and today it has finally paid off,” Benjamin said in an Instagram post. “I’ve dedicated countless hours to my education and sacrificed many things over the past three years to get here. As of today, I am an ASU alum.”

Benjamin isn’t expected to play in the Sun Bowl against Florida State on Dec. 31. He is projected to be picked between the third and fifth rounds of the draft.
