PLAYERS TO WATCH

–RB Eno Benjamin set a school rushing record with 312 yards against Oregon State, placing him eighth on the Pac-12 conference rushing list. With his 47-yard rushing touchdown in the second quarter, Benjamin set the school record for rushing yards in one half (185). The last Sun Devil to rush for 100 yards in a half was Cameron Marshall against UCLA in 2011 (102 yards). Benjamin’s four touchdowns make him the first Sun Devil with four-plus all-purpose or rushing touchdowns since Kalen Ballage on Sept. 10, 2016, against Texas Tech. Benjamin entered the game with three career rushing touchdowns.

–WR N’Keal Harry, a junior, moved to 10th in school history in career receiving yards with 2,220. Ninth place is Chris McGaha with 2,242. Harry has a reception in all 30 of his games in his ASU career.

–QB Manny Wilkins’ touchdown pass to Benjamin in the second quarter against Oregon State was the 40th of his career. Wilkins moved into sixth place on the ASU all-time passing yards list with 6,823. The redshirt senior has thrown for at least three touchdowns in four of his last seven games, after doing it just twice in his previous 21 games.

–LB Darien Butler, a freshman, ended the game against Oregon State with a career high in sacks (one), tackles for loss (two) and tackles (eight).

SERIES HISTORY: Arizona State leads Colorado 8-1 including a 41-30 win over the Buffaloes last year in Tempe, Ariz. The Buffaloes’ lone win came two years ago at Boulder, Colo., when they defeated the Sun Devils 40-16. ASU is 3-1 against Colorado in Boulder dating to 2002.

QUOTE TO NOTE: “(Being consistent on the road) would be good and I have talked to the team about that after we all came in the locker-room and I said that we are really good at home, but we’ve got to find what we need to do on the road to win a football game because we haven’t been very good on the road.” — Arizona State coach Herm Edwards, whose team is 3-0 at home but 0-2 on the road as they head to Colorado this week.
