GAME BREAKDOWN

KEY MATCHUP: Oregon State’s offensive line, a veteran group that has been strong in run-blocking, continues to give up sacks, with 14 allowed in four games. Now it has to deal with an Arizona State defense that has 13 sacks, tied for 10th nationally. “They do a great job of creating havoc around the quarterback,” OSU coach Jonathan Smith said of the Sun Devils.

ROSTER REPORT:

–QB Jake Luton missed last week’s game because of an ankle injury suffered at Nevada. Coach Jonathan Smith is “hopeful” he’ll return for the Arizona State game and give the Beavers the two-headed passing attack that helped them throw for a combined 748 yards against Southern Utah and Nevada.

–CB Shawn Wilson had to leave the Arizona game with a knee injury, and his status for Arizona State is uncertain. The junior has 19 tackles (1.5 for loss) and an interception in 2018.

–DE Jeromy Reichner, a junior college transfer who has yet to play this season because of a foot injury, could make his season debut on Saturday.
