GAME BREAKDOWN

KEY MATCHUP: Oregon State’s offensive line, which as a group has more than 90 career starts, was unable to create any running lanes against Cal and also gave up seven sacks (30 for the season). Colorado has held four of its seven opponents to below four yards per carry but it has only seven sacks in four Pac-12 games.

ROSTER REPORT:

–RB Jermar Jefferson, OSU’s most productive offensive player this season, is dealing with a muscle injury that limited him to two carries against Cal. He’s run for 899 yards and 12 touchdowns this season.

–WR Trevon Bradford has been nominated for the Wuerffel Trophy, an award given annually to a college football player who combines athletic and academic performance with community service work. The junior, who has 431 all-purpose yards and four TDs this season, volunteers with numerous organizations including the Boys and Girls Club in Corvallis.

–While Oregon State is last in the Pac-12 in third-down efficiency, converting just 34.9 percent of the time, it’s been highly successful on fourth down. The Beavers have made it on 16 of 20 occasions, going 8 of 9 in their last two games.
