PLAYERS TO WATCH

–RB Jermar Jefferson, with 135 yards at Colorado, sits at 1,034 for the season to along with 12 touchdowns. The true freshman, who is third nationally in total rushing yards and sixth in yards per game at 129.3, is OSU’s first 1,000-yard rusher since Jacquizz Rodgers in 2010.

–WR Isaiah Hodgins had 11 catches for 146 yards and two TDs against Colorado — more than he had amassed in the previous four games (one of which he missed because of injury). The sophomore leads OSU with 532 receiving yards.

–LB Hamilcar Rashed Jr. had another three tackles for loss against Colorado, giving the sophomore nine for the season. That’s 5.5 more than any other Oregon State player.

–K Jordan Choukair will remain the Beavers’ starter despite having a potential game-winning extra point blocked in the final minute of regulation. “We’re confident he’s our guy,” said coach Jonathan Smith said.

SERIES HISTORY: Oregon State holds an 11-62-4 record all-time against USC, losing three straight in the series by a combined score of 104-34. The Beavers’ last win over the Trojans came in November 2010, when they cruised to a 36-7 victory.
